This is kazari maki sushi that I cooked in Chilren’s Day for my son.
Kazari maki sushi is Decorated sushi roll which you can create patterns and letter that appear on the cutting surface.
Here is the step how to make this sushi roll.

Ingredients
Sushi rice
- Red: Sushi Rice + pickled red cabbage
- Green: Sushi Rice + green pea and spinach
- Yellow Sushi Rice + mashed kabocha (Or you can use boiled egg york and mayonnaise)
- 4 sheet nori
- 1 string cheese
- 1 slice cheese
Instructions
- Make 3 color rice with each rice ingredients.

- Cut nori sheet into 6 pieces and and 2 long strip with scissor.


- Cut nori sheet into ½ size and ¼ size and combine 2 sheet with rice

- Spread 1 Tablespoon rice of each colors and roll with Nori sheet 1 You need 2 pieces roll of each colors

- Combine 6 roll with nori sheet 2

- use 6/2 size of sheet (twice as much of above nori sheet) and add string cheese and pink rice and make another sushi roll.

- Spread just little amount rice on the big nori sheet. Place 2 all rolls you created and roll them together.

- make 2 triangle shape roll with yellow rice and nori.
