I introduced non-fried fried Chicken in the other day, but this is another one you can cook with oven. My husband prefer  non-fried fried Chicken but I think this “oven fried chicken” is more like Japanese style fried chicken.

Recipe is much easier and you can save more time. Great for busy moms. I hope you enjoy.

Non-fried Chicken Karaage - oven fried chicken
  • [A]
  • 1 lb (or little more) Chicken thigh or chicken leg (500g)
  • 1 Tablespoon ginger grated
  • 2 clove garlic grated
  • 2 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon sake (You can use white wine)
  • 1 medium size egg (beaten well)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon gochujang (option)

  • Other
  • 6 Tablespoon Corn starch
  • 2 Tablespoon Toasted sesame oil

  1. Preparation
  2. Cut chicken into bite-size.
  3. Mix all Ingredients [A] .
  4. Add chicken and Ingredients [A] in to zipper bag. Leave fridge about 1 hour (or over night)

  5. Recipe
  6. Preheat oven to 420 degrees F (210-220 degree C).
  7. Add Corn starch in zip bag and mix well.
  8. Add toasted sesame oil and mix well. (please do not skip step or add corn starch and sesame oil together. )
  9. Place a baking sheet on a baking pan, place them.
  10. Bake them about 25-30 minutes until the meat is cooked through.

[Preparation recipe 2 ] You may need to add more corn starch if necessary.
