Moon Festival Vegan Bento

Happy Moon Festival!
The Moon festival (also called Mid-Autumn festival) is celebrated in every year on the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar in Asia.
Moon Festival is also an occasion for family reunions. When the full moon rises, families get together to watch the full moon, eat moon cakes, and sing moon poems.

Since my son school serve school lunch from this week, I made this Moon Festival themed lunch for myself.

Here is ingredients.

  • Brown Rice with mixed vegetable, brown bean sauce
  • Korean seaweed snacks on the top of rice
  • pickled Daikon
  • Green bean and carrot
  • Steam corn
  • Salad: Cherry Tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, red cabbage, corn
  • Apple and grapes
  • I am ready for moon cake tonight.
