Childrens's Day Sushi Cake

We postponed Children’s party (Children’s day is May 5th) today and had great time with our friend and family.
I really appreciate to my friend who provide location and coordinate party for us.

I cooked sushi cake for Children’s Day) –Elmo cherry tomatoes with origami kabuto hat, washi tape koinobori flags, and olive penguin.

For basic sushi cake decoration, please refer the recipe.

I am sorry I cannot give you exact amount of ingredient and step by step recipe but here is how I make this.

    1. Marinate ground beef with toasted sesame oil, minced garlic, sugar, soy sauce, little bit of gochujang (option)
    2. Add 1 table spoon of tosted sesame oil in the pan, and saute them and set a side.
    3. For sushi cake rice,  I mixed rice, minced carrot , sliced green beans, toasted sesame oil, salt, soy sauce, and toasted sesame instead of using sushi rice.
    4. Spread korean laver (sea weed), and cheese (your favorite like cream cheese, slice cheese, mozzarella etc.) between layers.
    5. Add sliced thin egg crepe and smoked salmon, Elmo cherry tomatoes, olive penguin for garnish.
